1014 MGL Disha Project: Financial Literacy Session for Slum Women in Mahim

Mumbai, 12-Feb-2020: The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS), Mumbai organized a half day training on ‘Investment Planning’ for women from low income group residing in Kapada Bazaar slum in Mahim (West). 35 women participated in this workshop which was organized under the aegis of ‘MGL Disha Project’ supported by Mahanagar Gas Limited.

Ms. Surekha Pednekar (Project Officer-DBDS) and Mr. Tanaji Chavan from Mahim post office were the resource person for the training. The workshop focused on the saving and investment behaviour of people. Ms Pednekar urged the participants to save money and invest smartly so that they could have good returns from the investments. After the programme 10 online post account were opened by postmen. Ms. Kavita Kamble (Staff- DBDS) proposed the vote of thanks.
