1028 Anti-Tobacco Health Exhibition at Ajantha Nagar Slum

Chinchwad (Pune), 29-Feb-2020: The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS), Chinchwad organized a Health Exhibition on harmful effects of tobacco at Ajantha Nagar slum in Chinchwad. 122 people visited this exhibition held under the aegis of ‘Health Risk Reduction Project’ supported by AXA Business Services.

The objective of this exhibition was to educate people on the risky habit of consuming tobacco products and harmful effects of such habits. The program started at 9.00 am in the morning with the display of posters in the form of an exhibition to educate visitors. The poster contained visual and written information on health risks associated with consuming tobacco and its effects on personal health, family and society. During the exhibition the DBDS staff explained the information to the visitors. Mrs. Vibhawari Kamble (Staff- DBDS) did the logistical arrangement for the activity.
