1031 PROJECT ON CLIMATE CHANGE: Pressing Need of the Hour

Ahmednagar (Maharashtra), 2-March-2020: The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS) through its implementing partner Bosco Gramin Vikas Kendra (BGVK) has launched a new project on climate change adaption. This project will be implemented in the 5 districts of Central Maharashtra; thus bringing about sustainable development in this region which is often prone to drought.

The project was officially launched on 2-March in BGVK with a two-day staff capacity building workshop which focused on Water Budgeting, Water Management and Soil Health.

Fr Rolvin D’Mello (Executive Director - DBDS) speaking on the occasion placed on record his sincere thanks to Don Bosco Mondo (Bonn, Germany) for the financial support for this project. Fr George D’Abreo (Director – BGVK) will be coordinating the implementation of this project across all the five project districts: Ahmednagar, Beed, Aurangabad, Jalna and Parbhani.
