Mumbai, 5-March-2020: The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS) in joint collaboration with Mendonsa Foundation organized on three days, an evening for street and slum children in Mumbai to be at Dr Mukesh Batra’s photography exhibition at the Piramal Art Gallery NCPA, Mumbai.

Children from Bosco Boy’s Home (Borivali), Shelter Don Bosco (Wadala) and DBDS (Matunga) visited the exhibition on three different days. It was not just a visit but Dr Mukesh himself was present for the occasion and he personally taught these under-privileged children finer nuances of painting and photography.

Three best paintings from each group were given cash prizes and all the children were given T-shirts as well as goodie bags through the generosity of Mendonsa foundation and Dr Batra; the children were also served sumptuous snacks. Fr Rolvin D’Mello (Executive Director – DBDS) placed on record his sincere thanks to Dr Suhani Mendonsa and Dr Mukesh Batra for this golden opportunity provided to the under-privileged kids.
