1048 Bosco Gramin Vikas Kendra Reaches Out to Stranded Migrant Workers

Ahmednagar, 30-March-2020: BGVK - Bosco Gramin Vikas Kendra (partner organisation of Don Bosco Development Society) taking into consideration the pandemic of COVID-19, has availed its premises for the stranded young migrant workers. Bearing in mind the government compliances and social distancing, this facility has been set-up for 60 people.

Fr George D’abreo (Director - BGVK) speaking on the occasion said, “As of now there 48 young migrant workers hosted here – very soon more are expected.” Apart from the accommodation and food; other required toiletries are provided to them absolutely free of cost. BGVK has also conducted two short sessions on precautions to be taken on how to stay safe during this pandemic. This initiative is taken in collaboration with the civil authorities.
