1055 Covid-19 Relief Operations Begin in Pune

Pune, 15-April-2020:
The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS) Pune, is reaching out to 1500 poor and needy in the slums of Pune. Through the distribution of relief kits containing ration for a month, toiletries and hygiene kits. The covid-19 relief work is financially supported by Manos Unidas, Spain.

Fr Richard D’Silva along with the other staff and volunteers will execute the relief work. Fr Rolvin D’Mello (Executive Director – DBDS) speaking on the occasion said, “The primary beneficiaries of this relief work will be: widows, senior citizens without family/children, migrant labours, those physically differently abled and destitute families.” He also thanked Manos Unidas for the financial support.
