1071 Covid-19 Relief Operations: DBDS and MGL Reach Out to 12,500 in Raigad

Raigad (Maharashtra), April-2020: The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS) and Mahanagar Gas Limited (MGL) is reaching out to yet another 12,500 poor and needy in the Raigad district of Maharashtra. Through this relief work DBDS and MGL is providing one-month ration of food items, toiletries and hygiene kits mostly to tribal communities living in the hills and other daily-wage earners in Karjat and Pen blocks (talukas).

As a part of this project Fr Anthony Santarita along with some staff and volunteers distributed 500 relief kits at Don Bosco Karjat. Fr Rolvin D’Mello (Executive Director – DBDS) thanked MGL for their whole-hearted support in combating Covid-19 by catering to 12,500 poor and needy in the neglected areas of Raigad district.
