Palghar (Maharashtra), May-2020: The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS) in association with its implementing partner Bosco Samajik Vikas Sanstha (BSVS), reached out to 2500 tribal people residing in the forests and hills of Jawhar and Mokada blocks of Palghar district. This distribution of relief kits containing ration for a month, toiletries and hygiene kits was financially supported by Manos Unidas, Spain.

Fr Anaclete D’Mello (Director – BSVS) along with staff and volunteers successfully executed this task, travelling for village to village doing the distribution work. Fr Rolvin D’Mello (Executive Director – DBDS) speaking on the occasion thanked Manos Unidas for their continued support; Manos Unidas earlier in this month had supported the relief work in Pune and now supported the relief operations for the tribals in Palghar district.
