1120 Cookie-Cakes and Biscuits Distribution... For Better Nutrition to Fight Covid-19

Mumbai, July-2020: The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS) distributed cookie cakes and biscuits to the children in the slums of Jai Santoshi Mata Nagar, Home-Guard and Ghatkopar in the city of Mumbai. The main purpose of this distribution is to provide better nutrition to these under-privileged children.

Fr Rolvin D’Mello (Executive Director – DBDS) thanked ‘General Mills Company’ for sending large quantities of cookie cakes and biscuits for distribution in Pune and Mumbai. The distribution of cookie-cakes and biscuits has been happening for the last two weeks. The children were grateful for what they received during this challenging times of lock-down.

Since April 2020 DBDS has DIRECTLY touched the lives of more than 1,40,000 poor and needy – providing for their basic needs during this challenging time of Covid-19 pandemic.
