1124 Cookie-Cakes and Biscuits Distribution in Pune... for better nutrition to fight covid-19

Pune, July-2020: The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS) distributed cookie-cakes and biscuits to the slum dwellers in Yerwada, Vishrathwadi, Sangam Nagar, Ganesh Nagar, Gadge Maharaj Vasti, Lohegaon and to the poor villagers in Chakan. The main purpose of this distribution is to provide better nutrition to the poor and needy.

Fr Rolvin D’Mello (Executive Director – DBDS) thanked ‘General Mills Company’ for sending large quantities of cookie-cakes and biscuits for distribution in Pune and Mumbai. The distribution of cookie-cakes and biscuits has been happening from mid-June onwards. The people were very grateful for what they received during this challenging times of lock-down.

Since April 2020 DBDS has DIRECTLY touched the lives of more than 1,50,000 poor and needy – providing for their basic needs during this challenging time of Covid-19 pandemic.
