1132 Covid-19 Relief Operations in Rural Gujarat: Reaching Out To More Than 11,000 Poor and Needy

Kapadvanj (Gujarat), August-2020: The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS) in association with its implementing partner DRISTI Don Bosco is reaching out to more than 2000 poor and needy villagers in Kapadvanj. This distribution of relief kits containing ration for a month, toiletries and hygiene kits is financially supported by Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (Germany) and Don Bosco Mondo (Bonn-Germany).

Fr Mayank Parmar (Director – DRISTI) along with staff and volunteers is currently executing this task, travelling from village to village doing the Covid-19 relief work. Fr Rolvin D’Mello (Executive Director – DBDS) speaking on the occasion thanked Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (Germany) and Don Bosco Mondo (Bonn-Germany) for their continued support. Through this project, DBDS along with its various partners is reaching out to more than 11,000 poor and needy.

Since April 2020 DBDS has DIRECTLY touched the lives of more than 1,72,955 poor and needy – providing for their basic needs during this challenging time of Covid-19 pandemic.
