1135 Covid-19 Relief Operations Continues in Dakor…...

Dakor (Gujarat), August-2020: The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS) in association with its implementing partner DEEP Don Bosco is reaching out to more than 2000 poor and needy villagers in Dakor. This distribution of relief kits containing ration for a month, toiletries and hygiene kits is financially supported by Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (Germany) and Don Bosco Mondo (Bonn-Germany). Through this project, DBDS along with its various partners is reaching out to more than 11,000 poor and needy in the villages of Gujarat.

Fr Pravin Makwana (Director – DEEP) along with other Salesian priests and staff successfully executed this task, travelling from village to village doing the Covid-19 relief work. Fr Rolvin D’Mello (Executive Director – DBDS) speaking on the occasion thanked Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (Germany) and Don Bosco Mondo (Bonn-Germany) for their continued support.

Since April 2020 DBDS has touched the lives of 1,72,955 poor and needy – providing for their basic needs during this challenging time of Covid-19 pandemic.
