1168 Sanitizer Making Training for Slum Women…. towards sustainable livelihood

Pune, October 2020:
The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS) conducted five sanitizer making trainings from June to October in Chinchwad and Koregaon Park. 75 women benefited from these trainings conducted under the aegis of the health project financially supported by AXA Business Services.

The objective of these trainings was to impart skills and knowledge for supplementary income to the families connected to this project. Mrs. Samidra Thite and Mrs. Kranti Sansare were the resource persons for these trainings. The participants learnt to make three types of sanitizers namely liquid-based, gel-based and spray. Resource persons also conducted a session on business development and management: marketing, costing, budgeting, pricing and branding of products.
