Vadodara (Gujarat), November 2020:
The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS) in joint collaboration with Don Bosco Mondo (Bonn, Germany) helped 300 families of migrants, widows and slum-dwellers from the city of Vadodara; by distributing relief kits containing ration and toiletries. A total number of 20,000 poor and needy in the states of Maharashtra and Gujarat are being helped right now through this relief project.

Fr George Miranda (Director – Snehalaya) along with DBDS staff and other volunteers successfully implemented this task. Fr Rolvin D’Mello (Executive Director – DBDS) thanked Don Bosco Mondo and Conrad Family (Germany) for the financial support. The distribution was done from the campus of Don Bosco Snehalaya – social distancing and other government compliances were strictly adhered to during this entire process.

Since April 2020 we have touched the lives of 6,34,433 poor and needy – providing for their basic needs during this challenging time of Covid-19 pandemic.

“Dankeschön Familie Conrad”

(Thank you Conrad Family)
