1180 Covid-19 Relief Operations in Dakor: 150 poor tribal families helped….

Dakor (Gujarat), November 2020: The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS) in joint collaboration with DEEP Don Bosco helped 150 poor and needy families residing in the different villages of Kheda district by distributing relief kits containing ration and toiletries. A total number of 20,000 poor and needy in the states of Maharashtra and Gujarat are being helped through this relief project.

Fr Rolvin D’Mello (Executive Director – DBDS) thanked Don Bosco Mondo and Conrad Family (Germany) for the financial support. Fr Pravin Makwana along with other Salesians and DEEP staff travelled from village to village distributing the relief kits to the needy. Social distancing and other government compliances were strictly adhered to during this entire process.

Since April 2020 we have touched the lives of 6,34,433 poor and needy – providing for their basic needs during this challenging time of Covid-19 pandemic.
