1183 Covid-19 Relief Operations for tribals in Alirajpur

Alirajpur (Madhya Pradesh), November 2020: The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS) in joint collaboration with Don Bosco Alirajpur helped more than 150 poor tribal families living in the forests and hills of Alirajpur district; by distributing relief kits containing ration, hygiene kits and toiletries. A total number of 2,500 poor and needy in the city of Mumbai and in the state of Madhya Pradesh are being helped through this relief-work project funded by the Association of Auxilium India (Seregno, Italy).

Fr Stanny Ferreira, Fr Pratap Damor, Fr Cedrick Sankul and Fr Pannasingh Bhuriya along with the staff successfully implemented this task of covid-19 relief work. Fr Rolvin D’Mello (Executive Director – DBDS) thanked: the president and the board members, as well as the friends and supporters of this association in Italy for their financial support in this venture. Social distancing and other government compliances were strictly adhered to during this entire process.

Since April 2020 we have touched the lives of 6,34,433 poor and needy – providing for their basic needs during this challenging time of Covid-19 pandemic.
