Mumbai, November 2020:
The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS) helped another 60 migrant families residing in Antop Hill and Matunga areas. DBDS distributed relief kits containing ration for a month, toiletries and hygiene kits to them. Fr Rolvin D’Mello (Executive Director – DBDS) thanked an anonymous donor for financially supporting this venture in loving memory of late Mrs. Mary Anthony Lobo.

Most of these families who received the help; work at different construction sites around the area, however the construction works in the city of Mumbai are not fully operational and hence most of these families are without regular jobs. Thus food and other basic needs is always a major concern for them.

Since April 2020 we have touched the lives of 6,34,433 poor and needy – providing for their basic needs during this challenging time of Covid-19 pandemic.
