Vadodara (Gujarat), December 2020: The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS) Vadodara organized two spice making follow-up trainings for women from various slums of Vadodara. First training was held on 28th November 2020 with 24 women and second one was held on 12th December 2020 with 12 women.

Mrs. Prabhavatiben and Mrs. Parulben were the resource persons. These meeting were held in batches of 4 women each keeping the social distance and safety precautions in wake of COVID-19 pandemic. Follow-up sessions were held to track the progress of women and to understand and resolve the problems and issues faced by women. During the meetings women shared their common problem of closure of business activities and struggle to survive. The resource persons suggested them to make small pouches of spices and sell to shopkeepers to generate some income.

This project is financially supported by Mix for Kids (Germany).
