1215 Remedial Education for Children in the Slums of Vadodara

Vadodara (Gujarat), January 2021: The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS) is running 25 classes under ‘Urban Slum Education Project’ aimed at assisting marginalized and deprived children from slums of Vadodara financed by Kindermissionswerk (Aachen, Germany).

The classes are held both in online and physical mode in the slums of Vadodara confirming to the guidelines of health department and Education department with respect to the prevailing COVID-19 situation in Vadodara. The teachers are skilled not just in helping the children with academics but there are number of other activities which the teachers successfully conduct with the guidance from the project coordinator.
