1222 MGL Disha Project: Financial Literacy for Under-Privileged Women

Mumbai, January 2021: The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS), Mumbai organized seven financial literacy sessions for women residing in various slums of Mumbai. 271 women benefited through these sessions held under the aegis of ‘MGL Disha Project’ supported by Mahanagar Gas Limited. Women also took benefit of various schemes like Post Office Saving Account, Sukanya Samruddhi Yojana (SSY), Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Yojana (PMJJY), Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY), Public Provident Fund (PPF), and India Post Payments Bank (IPPB).
