Mumbai, March 2021:
The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS) distributed educational material like books, pens, pencils, charts, clay, glue, etc. for the 507 students who regularly attended the various 20 remedial classes conducted by DBDS in the different slums of the city. This year due to the covid pandemic many of the students did not have access to this basic educational material and hence this venture was the need of the hour. This entire distribution was financially supported by Mahanagar Gas Limited.

Fr Rolvin D’Mello (Executive Director) and Miss Shamika Ranade (Coordinator and mentor for remedial classes) handed over all the material to the remedial class teachers at the DBDS campus and they in-turn distributed it to all the students. Fr Rolvin also thanked the DBDS staff for their tireless efforts in ensuring the success of these classes.
