The coaching with a new set of sports jerseys and shoes started on 8th March, the day we also celebrate International Women’s Day. Mr Shivam is the football coach. Coaching is held every day; Monday to Friday from 4:30 pm to 6.00 pm at Don Bosco School playground. Before starting the regular coaching, consent of parents was obtained and before that the project team went home to home to convince parents to send their daughter for football coaching. Girls are also given nutrition daily after the session.

Fr Rolvin D’Mello (Executive Director - DBDS) thanked ‘Mix for Kids’ for financially supporting this project for the under-privileged in the slums of Vadodara.
