1286 Distribution of Medical Accessories and Health Supplement for Combating Coronavirus Pandemic

Mumbai, May 2021: The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS) distributed medical accessories like pulse oximeter, digital thermometer, vaporiser and health supplement like vitamin C tablets with zinc to more than 400 Covid-affected families from the slums of Dharavi and Antop Hill in Mumbai. This relief operation was financially supported by Association of Auxilium India (Seregno, Italy).

Fr Rolvin D’Mello (Executive Director – DBDS) thanked: the president, council and the benefactors of this association in Italy for their financial support in this venture. He also mentioned that they aim to help a total of 10,000 people in Mumbai with medical accessories and health supplement to combat coronavirus and prevent it from spreading.

Social distancing and other government compliances were strictly adhered to during this entire process. DBDS has reached out to more than 750,000 poor and needy during the course of last one year - providing for their basic and essential needs.
