1303 Covid-19 Relief Work in Mumbai

Mumbai, July 2021: The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS) during the last week reached out to another 220 Covid-affected families in the slums of Mumbai. They distributed vaporisers, a full-set of hygiene kits and vitamin C tablets with zinc. This relief operation was financially supported by Don Bosco Mondo (Bonn, Germany).

Fr Rolvin D’Mello (Executive Director – DBDS) thanked Don Bosco Mondo for the constant support throughout the pandemic, he also mentioned that through their support relief operations are presently being carried out in Pune city and Pimpri-Chinchwad as well.

Social distancing and other government compliances were strictly adhered to during this entire process. DBDS has reached out to more than 832, 000 poor and needy during the course of the last one year - providing for their basic and essential needs.
