171 FREE HEALTH CAMP IN RAM NAGAR SLUMS IN CHINCHWAD

18th November 2017, Chinchwad (Pune): The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS), Chinchwad organized a free health camp for people residing in Ram Nagar slum in Chinchwad. 65 Women, 10 men and 17 children benefited from this health camp. This health camp was held under the aegis of ‘Women Empowerment Project’ supported by AXA Business Services.

The camp was held in collaboration with Doctors and their team from Lokmanya Hospital, Chinchwad, Pune. Drs. Yusef Chaudhari and Asma Mulani with their medical team examined the people during this health camp. Doctors also gave information about the Cancer and Mahatma Phule Aarogya Jeevndayee Yojana. 22 patients were also referred to Lokmanya Hospital for further treatment. The main ailments diagnosed were Eye Problem, Joint pain, Fungal Infection, Common cold, Menstrual irregularities, Gastric Problem (GRDS), Skin diseases, High BP, High sugar etc. Mrs. Rajshree Deshkhaire (DBDS- Staff) organized the people to attend this health camp in her project area.
