182 FREE HEALTH CAMP FOR WOMEN IN BOPODI SLUM

Pune, 30-November-2017: The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS), Pune organized a Free health camp for the women of Bopodi Slum in Pune. Around 50 women were screened for Hemoglobin (HB) - free of cost. This health camp was held under the aegis of ‘Women Empowerment Project’ supported by Manos Unidas, Spain.

Dr. Mone (Gynecologist), Mrs. Pallavi Bansode (Lab Technician) and Mr. Ganesh Gade (Pharmacist) examined the Patients in this health camp. Ladies with low HB were advised accordingly by the doctors. Free medicines/ tonics were distributed to women. Doctor advised women to take proper diet, use ground nuts, green vegetables etc. Participants were very happy with this health camp.
