Mumbai, 16-Dec-2017:
The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS) Mumbai, conducted a Free Health Camp in the slums of Dharavi in which more than 160 men and women were benefited. The health camp was held in association with the Seven Hills Hospital for the poor and needy people from the slums. This health camp was held under the aegis of ‘Flood Relief Project’ supported by Don Bosco Mondo, Germany.

Mrs. Surekha Pednekar (Coordinator - DBDS) welcomed all the General Physicians and Para-medical staff. Dr Rohan Jadhav, Mr. Shushant and their team examined the people in this health camp. The health camp saw ladies visiting in huge numbers as the slums in Dharavi lack proper public health care services. The Health Camp provided specialised screening and consultation with experts on Dental Check-up, Naturopathy, Cancer, Kidney and Heart (cardiac) related problems.

The beneficiaries were grateful to Don Bosco Mondo and Seven Hills Hospital for offering such a wide range of check-ups free of cost. The Vote of Thanks was proposed by Ms. Kavita Kamble (Staff – DBDS) who also had made all the necessary arrangements for this medical camp.
