09-Jan-2018 (Mumbai): Rev. Fr Godfrey D’Souza visited the Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS), Mumbai. Fr Godfrey, being the president of DBDS and Provincial of the Salesian Province of Mumbai made his official annual visit.

The visit began by meeting Fr Rolvin D’Mello (Executive Director – DBDS). In this meeting number of important matters were discussed; including the present state of affairs, the scope for expansion, financial situation, etc.

Later Fr Godfrey was traditionally welcomed by all the staff of DBDS and Greenline (environmental wing of DBDS). Fr Manuel Murzello (Provincial Economer) was also present for the occasion.

In his talk, Fr Godfrey thanked the staff of DBDS and Greenline for their commitment and dedication in reaching out to the poor and needy. He gave the example of Don Bosco, who always wanted to reach out to the youth and the needy through actions. He further exalted the staff to continue doing the good work for the betterment of society.
