251 COLOURS OF HOLI: For 325 Slum Children

02-March-2018, Vadodara: Don Bosco Roshni celebrated Holi (Indian Festival of Colours) with Slum Children. More than 325 children participated in this event. The programme was held under the aegis of ‘Children Education Project’ supported by Manos Unidas, Spain.

Holi is one of the main festivals among Hindu community in India. The children who regularly attend the daily remedial classes held by Don Bosco Roshni participated in this celebration. They enjoyed the festival by applying colours to each other and putting water colours using water gun and balloons. They also enjoyed the Holi sweets and snacks prepared in the families.

“It was not just about playing with colours but a moment of bringing cheer to the life of these slum kids who are rarely get this privilege of enjoying the good moments in life due to their socio-economic conditions,” said Ms Jagruti Patil (Coordinator – Roshni Don Bosco).
