252 FREE HEALTH CAMP IN KANE NAGAR SLUM

6-Mar-2018, Mumbai: The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS) organized a free general health check-up camp for the residents of Kane Nagar slum in Antop hill. Around 190 men, women and children were examined by the doctors in this camp. This health camp was held under the aegis of the project supported by Don Bosco Mondo, Germany.

The purpose of health camp was to identify anaemic children and women in the slum. Patients were screened for anaemia using a symptom’s questionnaire. This camp was held in association with Awabaiee Hospital (Family Planning Association of India) in Tilak Nagar. Dr. Naushin Ansari along with 2 Nurses and 1 Medical Social workers examined the patients during this health camp. DBDS staff did all the logistical arrangements for the entire health camp.
