The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS), Mumbai organised a tour to Nehru Planetarium and Kamala Nehru Park for Slum children who are attending summer camp in Don Bosco-Matunga. 130 children from different slums of Mumbai participated in this event which was held under the aegis of project supported by Don Bosco Mondo, Germany.

This tour was one of the many events which children are attending in this summer camp. The children started gathering at Don Bosco at around 8 am. Some came with their parents and all the children were served breakfast. At 9.30 am the children boarded the special bus which took them to Nehru Planetarium and then to the Kamala Nehru park.

In this educational tour they learned about planets and the wonders of the universe. They also visited the Nehru museum where they learned about the history of the world especially the history of India. After lunch the children enjoyed playing in the garden and enjoyed the shoe house and the greenery around. Children were full of energy and enthusiasm and they enjoyed the day. In evening children went back home with amazing and joyful memories of the event.
