360 ADOLESCENT HEALTH AWARENESS FOR SLUM GIRLS

10-Aug-2018, Pune: The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS), Pune organized an adolescent girl’s awareness session at Ekatanagar slum in Pune. 19 girls attended this session held under the aegis of ‘Women Empowerment Project’ supported by Manos Unidas, Spain. 

Miss. Nilima Chandhare (DBDS-Trainer) was the resource person for this session. Mr. Nagsen Chavan (DBDS-Coordinator) welcomed the participants and spoke on various activities conducted by DBDS under this project. In her session Miss Nilima Chandhare covered following topics:

· Good clear Communication
· Psychological and emotional changes.
· How to keep balance of Psychological changes.
· Female reproductive system
· Importance of Family support
· Different aspect of growing stages
· Physical body changes and their stress.
· Body cleanliness
· Gender equality

The Participants shared their personal issues with the resource person. There was one to one counseling by the resource person. The programme ended with vote of thank by Mr. Nagsen Chavan.
