14-August-2018, Vadodara (Gujarat): Roshni Don Bosco organized the ‘Independence day’ celebrations with fun and frolic for more than 450 children from slums of Vadodara city. The celebrations were held under the aegis of ‘Education Project’ supported by Manos Unidas, Spain.

Children took special interest in making Indian national flag. They made paper flag on this occasion. The day was marked with remembering freedom fighters and saluting the national Flag. It was a moment of pride for the children to watch tricolour unfurl in their own locality. Children came with their own flags made of paper to celebrate this national festival. After the event sweets were distributed to all the children.
