Vadodara (Gujarat), 3-September-2018: Roshni Don Bosco celebrated the festival of ‘Janamastami’ and ‘Dahi Handi’ with great fun and frolic in different slums of Vadodara. More than 380 under-privileged children from slums participated in these celebrations held under the aegis of ‘Education Project’ supported by Manos Unidas (Spain).

The children who attend the daily remedial classes under the project participated in these celebrations; they were joined by their teachers and parents. The whole environment was filled with joy and cheer. Small children dressed-up as Govinda, Radha and Krishna attempted to reach the Handi and finally were helped by elder children to break it. Snacks were distributed to all and children went back with memorable experience of festive celebrations.
