Suket (Rajasthan), 08-Oct-2018: ‘Education and Health’ being a pressing need in most rural parts of the state of Rajasthan. The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS) is exploring new horizons about some sustainable interventions in these field through Don Bosco Suket (Partner Organization – DBDS).

Fr Rolvin D’Mello (Executive Director – DBDS) made a visit to Suket and explored a few possibilities of interventions in the field of health and education. While on his visit, Fr Rolvin said, “The living conditions in this part of Rajasthan is quite pitiful and hence we are exploring possibilities of sustainable interventions.”

Fr Gregory D’Cunha (Director – Don Bosco Suket) briefed the team about the existing interventions in the field of education; both in the School and at the village level. He also showed great willingness to open up new avenues and promised his whole-hearted support to expand in the areas of health and Self-help Groups.

As part of the commitment of DBDS towards Sustainable Development Goals; in the near future one can expect variety of interventions in the field of education and health in Suket and also in the neighbouring villages.
