Ahmednagar (Maharashtra), 29-Oct-18: The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS) through its implementing partner Bosco Gramin Vikas Kendra, Ahmednagar is running ‘Village Education Project’ for children studying in 30 rural government schools in central Maharashtra. Over the next three years the project will benefit more than 2700 students in the project area.

Fr Rolvin D’Mello (Executive Director – DBDS) on his visit to this project said that, “Since the quality of education in these rural schools is far below average we are implementing this Project – so as to provide these poor farmers kids with quality education”.

The main objective of this project is to also groom these kids with leadership qualities along with academic studies. Fr George D’Abreo (Project Director) said, “The project has been running smoothly and along with academic education we are also conducting lot of extra-curricular activities for them”.
