Ahmednagar (Maharashtra), 30-Oct-18: The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS) through its implementing partner Bosco Gramin Vikas Kendra, Ahmednagar is running two projects for the poor farmers in the villages of central Maharashtra. The main objective of the project is to bring about sustainable development in the lives of these farmers – both these projects are funded by the VAN AMERINGEN FOUNDATION.

Fr Rolvin D’Mello (Executive Director – DBDS) visited a number of beneficiaries of both these projects: ‘Goat-based Livelihood’ and ‘Biogas Project’. He was delighted to witness the progress made in these projects and also the number of poor farmers benefiting from these projects.

Fr George D’Abreo (Project Director – of both the projects) said, “We are committed to the holistic development of these farmers and hence we are running both these projects simultaneously. Hoping to achieve sustainable development in their lives.”
