424 CREATIVE DESIGNS WORKSHOP FOR 400 SLUM CHILDREN

3-November-2018, Vadodara (Gujarat): Roshni Don Bosco organized Creative Designs workshop from 30-October to 3-November for more than 400 slum children who attend the daily study support classes. The workshop was held under the aegis of ‘Children Education Project’ supported by Manos Unidas, Spain. 

Children were taught different kind of Rangoli designs, Diya Making and Toran Making. These are also associated with the festivals in India. Slum children who are studying in Std. 9th and 10th in Don Bosco High School gave their voluntary service for this event. They guided the smaller children in making Rangoli. The children made nice earthen lamps, Torans and Rangoli. The Children were full of enthusiasm and participated actively in this workshop.
