450 ANTI- TOBACCO EXHIBITION IN SAIBABA NAGAR SLUM

6-December-2018, Chinchwad (Pune): The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS) Chinchwad, organized a health exhibition on harmful effects of tobacco in Saibaba Nagar slum area in Chinchwad. 104 people visited this exhibition held under the aegis of ‘Health Risk Reduction Project’ supported by AXA Business Services.

The Health exhibition focused on communicating the health risks associated with tobacco consumptions and its ill effects on health. The program started at 9.30 am in the morning with the display of posters in the form of an exhibition to educate the youth. The poster contained visual and written information on health risks associated with consuming tobacco and its effects on personal health, family and society. During the exhibition the social workers explained the information to the visitors.
