456 ROAD SAFETY FOR SCHOOL CHILDREN

21-December-2018, Chinchwad (Pune): The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS), Chinchwad organized an interactive session on ‘Road Safety and Traffic Rules’ for the children in the Maulana Abdul Kalam School in Akurdi, Chinchwad. 119 Students participated in this session held under the aegis of ‘Health Risk Reduction’ project supported by AXA Business Services Ltd.

Ms. Lalita Chaudhari (Coordinator - DBDS) welcomed the resource person and children for this session. Mr. N.A. Misal (Assistant Police Inspector) and Mr. Pravin T. Bamblen (Police Constable) were the resource person for this session. In their talk they covered various DO’s and DON’Ts related to road safety. They also educated children on helping victims of road accidents. In case of accidents always call police by dialling number 100 & for ambulance call 108. After the session snacks were served to all the children and Ms. Lalita proposed the vote of thanks at the end.
