20-December-2018, Mumbai: The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS), Mumbai organized a one day training on ‘Investment Planning’ for women from low income group residing in Vijay Nagar slum in Mumbai. 55 women participated in this workshop.

Mr. Dinesh Dedhia (Public Relation Inspector) from Mahim post office was the resource person for the training. Ms Akila Ansari (DBDS-Staff) welcomed the participants and resource person. The workshop focused on the saving and investment behaviour of people. He further urged the participants to save money and invest smartly so that they could have good returns from the investments.

Detailed information on investment in small saving schemes, pension schemes, etc. was given. As a result of this training 35 women filled up form of Sukanya Samruddhi Yojana, PPF & saving account. The programme ended with vote of thanks by Ms Akila.
