Vadodara (Gujarat), 14-Jan-2019: The Roshini Don Bosco celebrated the kite flying festival known as MAKAR SAKRANTI with the children of support classes from the slums of Vadodara city. More than 250 children celebrated this festival. The programme was held under the aegis of ‘Children Education Project’ supported by Manos Unidas, Spain.

This festival is marked with celebrations such as dances, kite flying, bonfires and feasts. In Don Bosco, the festival was celebrated with children where the slum children made their own kites with the help of their teachers and also enjoyed flying them.
