476 ANTI-TOBACCO EXHIBITION IN AKURDI SLUM

Chinchwad (Pune), 14-January-2019: The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS), Chinchwad organized a Health Exhibition to educate people on the harmful effects of tobacco at Khandoba Mandir in Akrudi slum. 72 people visited and viewed the exhibited posters. 

The Health exhibition focused on communicating the health risks associated with tobacco consumptions and its ill effects on health. The program started at 10.00 am with the display of posters in the form of an exhibition to educate the youth and adult. The poster contained visual graphics and written information on health risks associated with consuming tobacco and its effects on personal health, family and society. During the exhibition the social workers explained the information to the visitors.
