603 ANTI-TOBACCO HEALTH EXHIBITION at Indira Nagar Slum

Chinchwad (Pune), 9-May-2019: The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS), Chinchwad organized a Health Exhibition on harmful effects of tobacco at Indira Nagar slum in Chinchwad. 126 people visited this exhibition held under the aegis of ‘Health Risk Reduction Project’ supported by AXA Business Services.

The objective of this exhibition was to educate people on the risky habit of consuming tobacco products and harmful effects of such habits. The program started at 8.30 am in the morning with the display of posters in the form of an exhibition to educate youth and adult. The poster contained visual material and written information on health risks associated with consuming tobacco and its effects on personal health, family and society.

During the exhibition the DBDS staff explained the information to the visitors. Mrs. Sarika Kadam (Staff- DBDS) did the logistical arrangement for the activity.
