634 ANTI-TOBACCO EXHIBITION AT AJANTHA NAGAR SLUM

Chinchwad (Pune), 7-June-2019: The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS), Chinchwad organized a Health Exhibition on ‘harmful effects of tobacco’ in Ajantha Nagar slum area in Chinchwad. 109 people visited this health exhibition, held under the aegis of ‘Health Risk Reduction Project’ supported by AXA Business Services.

The Health exhibition focused on communicating the health risks associated with tobacco consumptions and its ill effects on health. The program started at 9.00 am with the display of posters in the form of an exhibition to educate the commuters. The poster contained visual material and written information on health risks associated with consuming tobacco and its effects on personal health, family and society. During the exhibition the DBDS staff explained the information to the visitors. Mrs. Vibhawari Kamble (Staff- DBDS) did the logistical arrangement for this event.
