Mumbai, 15-June-2019: The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS), Mumbai organized a Street play on the harmful effects of tobacco in Dinbandhu Nagar slum in Wadala (East). The street play was held under the aegis of ‘MGL Disha Project’ supported by Mahanagar Gas Limited.

The objective of the street play was to educate people on the harmful effects of tobacco and to abstain people from consuming tobacco. It highlighted the fact that easy availability of tobacco products and encouragement from peers, family etc, makes young people addicted to smoking and chewing tobacco. More than 175 children, men & women from the slum, participated carrying flashcards and educated the commuter on the way.
