726 MGL Disha Project: Training On Investment Planning for Slum Women

Mumbai, 16-Aug-2019: The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS), Mumbai organized a training on ‘Investment Planning’ for women from low income group residing in Vijay Nagar slum in Antop Hill. 52 women participated in this training which was organized under the aegis of ‘MGL Disha Project’ supported by Mahanagar Gas Limited.

Ms. Surekha Pednekar (Project Officer - DBDS) welcomed the participants and resource person. Mr. Dinesh Dedhia (Public Relation Inspector) from Mahim post office was the resource person for the training. The workshop focused on the saving and investment behaviour of people. He further urged the participants to save money and invest smartly so that they could get good returns from the investments. After the programme Ms. Akila Ansari (Staff-DBDS) along with her team did all the logistical arrangements and also proposed the vote of thanks.
