753 MGL DISHA PROJECT: Free Health Camp in Wadala (East)

Mumbai, 9-Sept-2019: The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS), organized a free health and eye check-up camp for the women and children residing in Anandwadi slum in Wadala (East). 122 patients (22 children, 41 men and 59 women) were examined by the doctor in this camp which was held under the aegis of ‘MGL Disha Project’ supported by Mahanagar Gas Limited.

Mr. Sunil Pandhare (Staff - DBDS) welcomed Dr Abhishek Jandade and his team from Seven Hill hospital. Patients were diagnosed to be suffering from Sugar, Blood Pressure, Joint pain, Fungal Infection, Common cold, Calcium deficiency, Gastric Problem and Skin infections. After examination the doctors distributed iron, vitamin tablets and skin ointment to patients who were anaemic and suffering from fungal infections, Scabies. No Cataract patients were identified in this camp. Local people were very happy with this health camp and praised the efforts of Mahanagar Gas Limited. Mr. Sachin (volunteer) proposed the vote of thanks at the end.
