789 Three-Days Training On Soybean Products Making For Slum Women

Koregaon Park (Pune): 28-Sept-2019: The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS), Pune organized a 3 days training workshop from 25th to 28th September on ‘Soybean Products Making Business’ for the women residing in Tempo Chowk slum in Pune. 23 women successfully completed the entire training held under the aegis of ‘Women Empowerment Project’ supported by Manos Unidas, Spain.

The objective of this training was to impart skill and knowledge on Soybean products making as an income generation activity to supplement their family income. Mrs. Sheetal Pansare was the resource person for this training. Both theory and practical sessions were taken by the resource person. Six different kinds of Soybean Products i.e Soya- Atta, Soya- milk, Soya-paneer, Soya-Chana, Soya-Laddu and Soya-curd were taught to them.

They also underwent business management session on marketing, costing, budgeting, pricing, selling, purchasing by Mr Nagsen Chavan (Coordinator). Program ended with a vote of thanks proposed by Mrs. Priya sonawane (Staff-DBDS).
