800 ANTI-TOBACCO CAMPAIGN: Street Play In Wadala (East)

Mumbai, 7-Oct-2019: The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS), Mumbai organized a street play to educate people on the harmful effect of tobacco consumption in Mata Ramabai Nagar slum in Wadala (East). The street play was held under the aegis of ‘MGL Disha Project’ supported by Mahanagar Gas Limited. 

The NSS group of Shree Narayana Guru College of Commerce, Kurla presented this street play to educate people on the harmful effects of tobacco and abstain from consuming tobacco. More than 150 children, men and women from the slum participated carrying flashcards and speaking to people against the use of tobacco. Mr. Sunil Pandhare (Staff- DBDS) made the logistical arrangement for this event.
